Albert Prater of Bristol, driver of the car that crashed into a Southern Railway trestle at Natural Tunnel, killed Mrs. Willie Bell Harris and injured Henry Harris and two children. Prater is jailed on murder charges, later to likely face involuntary manslaughter. Louise and Ruth Harris remain hospitalized with grave to improving conditions.

Loy Frye Pardoned by Governor Horton in Tennessee
Loy Frye, convicted in Carter county of transporting liquor and given one to two years, was pardoned today by Governor Horton on the trial judge and attorney general's recommendation.
