Detroit June 8 Thirteen men charged in the Black Legion kidnaping and execution of Charles A. Poole were ordered held for trial on both counts by Common Pleas Judge Ralph W. Liddy. Names include Dayton Dean Black Legion executioner who testified he emptied two revolvers into Poole’s body and Harvey Davis, Ervin D. Lee, Panl R. Edwards, Edgar Baldwin, Herschel Gill, Lowell Rushing, Thomas R. Craig, John R. Bannerman, John S. Vincent, Virgil Morrow, and Albert Stevens. The judge considered whether all should face murder charges but requested arguments on that point. Prosecutor Duncan C. McCrea said all defendants went to the scene to kill Poole.

WPA Vocational Instructor Held in Hotel Fire Deaths
