A one year old Negro man, Green Coleman, burned to death in a back room of a South Memphis home that was swept by fire Tuesday night. The owner fled with her three children as neighbors shouted the house was on fire. she could not reenter to save Coleman.

TV Reception From Other Worlds Seen
US engineer Bernard Oliver suggests other civilizations broadcast daily with radio and television. He estimates Earth could spend 2 to 3 billion dollars on antennas to listen, proposing 1,060 to 10,000 antennas 200 feet high in a 18 mile square area near Palo Alto. Oliver spoke to 5,000 scientists at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics meeting. He says eavesdropping is possible but Earth currently cannot hear them.
