Young man slain in Kentucky in New Castle

Crosby Lowden 40, a farmer, was charged with the slaying of Orknd Yates 26 in New Castle Kentucky. An examining trial for Lowden will be held next Thursday after his arrest today. Yates had sworn out a warrant accusing Lowden of inhuman treatment of his 17 year old daughter Tit Lee who had been receiving attention from Yates. Yates was killed at 430 in the afternoon when Lowden allegedly met him on the road after hours of searching by officers. Dowdent is the father of seven motherless children, six of whom were mothered by the girl alleged to have been chastised.
