Asheville July 23 AP report says the so called mystery man in the Helen Clevenger case, a NYU co ed killed in a hotel room, is the prime suspect. Sheriff Layuce Keeares says he expects to take the killer into custody by 7 p m tomorrow, noting another arrest may follow. A bellboy and a fast driver witnessed a man fleeing the Bat tery Park hotel after the crime as lightning illuminated the scene. The case remains a seven day mystery with multiple detainees but the sheriff insists the actual murderer will be arrested soon.

Four persons were killed and at least 15 injured in a head on collision between two Central of Georgia passenger trains near Ogeechee Georgia.
