Bridge Changes Planned for Scott County Road Project
Virginia Department of Highways announced bridge improvements on secondary road 11 to ease bottlenecks and hazards. Bids due August 9 cover the new 500 foot long, 30 foot wide bridge with safety parapets and 1.4 miles of 22 foot access road toward the Duffield Industrial Park, crossing the Clinch River at Fort Blackmore, with half a mile of improved approaches.
