Funeral of Aga Khan Draws Ismaili Pilgrims to Aswan
Moslems from Cairo and several countries gathered for the 600 mile journey to Aswan to attend the Aga Khan's funeral. Leaders from Africa and the Middle East traveled by train and plane as Cairo prepared the pink Cataract Hotel to receive mourners. The Aga Khan, born in Karachi, will be buried beside his villa on the Nile. The new Aga Khan is among those arriving from Switzerland aboard the body plane. The Begum plans to depart Aswan on Saturday. In Washington a bill to fund indexing and microfilming presidential papers passed the House. Truman papers are excluded.
