In Houston at St Luke s Hospital George Henry Tebord 48 of Helotes Tex received the heart of Maxie Elwood Anderson a match from a donor after hours of testing. Tebord is reported in satisfactory condition. The three other potential recipients were tested but Tebord was selected. The nation now has three living heart transplant patients at St Luke s two more in other locations.
