Ellis Crymble 22, of Bristol, connected with Smith Blakley Co Kingsport, drowned in the swollen Holston River at Island Park during a dancing event. Deputy Webb fired pistols during an arrest attempt, Crymble leaped into the water and was found by Chalmers Owen and Owen Wood after hours of searching. Coroner's jury ruled death by drowning. Funeral planned at First Presbyterian Church Bristol with pallbearers and flower bearers named.
