A massive brush fire atop California's Morongo Reservation mountain slopes roared into the San Jacinto range. About 1,200 firefighters battled 8,000 acres as winds pushed flames, aided by nine tanker planes and a large helicopter operation. Water contamination did not cause diarrhea aboard cruise ship
