Horton Pardons Woman Legger in Liquor Case
Nashville January 30 A Washington county widow mother of two was pardoned today for a $100 liquor law fine after representation to Governor Horton that she could not pay and would lose her children to jail. County officials urged clemency. Hughie Pardue of Hickman county was pardoned for the unpaid portion of a liquor law fine after serving a 90 day sentence.
