Inquest Planned On Death During Bath County Raids
AWINGSVILLE Ky Jan 22 A coroner inquest was planned today into the death of Richard Williams 35 who died from a fractured skull during dry raids in Bath County Federal and state officers conducted the raids. Ludlow Cook Fayette deputy constable said Williams was tapped on the head when he resisted arrest while Prohibition Agent W C Manning said Williams was drunk and ran into a tree. Coroner S C Alexander would hold the inquest if raiders testified Subpoenas would issue if they failed to appear.
