Survivors recount a sea storm off New York as a ferry with passengers shelters on deck. The vessel faced winds around 127 miles per hour as waves battered the ship and passengers yelled. Rescue efforts included warming broth and attempting to crawl to safety as the vessel pitched and rolled.
Nashville January 18 Governor Cooper planned to sign bills aimed at ending four laws used by his predecessor to hinder opposition.
