Citizens of Kingsport are invited to an open public meeting at 7:30 tonight to discuss water supply. A citizen committee will present findings and final recommendations for action by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. Engineers propose pumping plants on the South Fork Holston River with outputs from 2 to 10 million gallons daily and costs from around 350000 to 439000 dollars.
President Coolidge returned to Washington shortly after 7 AM ending a six day visit to Havana. He addressed the Pan American conference. Mrs Coolidge accompanied him at Union Station and they went to the White House for breakfast. Secretaries Kellogg and Wilbur and spouses went home.
