Funeral services will be at Broad Street Methodist Church Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Dr R E Greer in charge and interment in Kingsport City Cemetery. He was 51, educated at Milligan College and University of Tennessee, and lived with his mother Mrs Lula Cooper Dobyns at 1434 Watauga Street.

Seven people were injured in weekend accidents across Kingsport and vicinity. At Community Hospital physicians described injuries as painful but not serious. Two year old Joella Steffey suffered a scalp laceration from a Hawkins County crash on Holston River road. J C Parker, 38, Dale Street, sustained scalp, knee, and hip abrasions after stepping from a taxicab.
