Flames belched from seven tanks at the American Oil Company refinery in south Baltimore after yesterday's explosions. The blaze injured seven firemen, forced hundreds to flee, and destroyed about 500,000 gallons of combustibles as a dense black smoke settled over the area. Firemen protected nearby tanks and homes as the scene drew about 100,000 people. All injured firefighters are expected to recover.
