DAYTONA BEACH Fla Aug 10 A passenger Eastern Air Lines plane crashed into a newly built power line near the airport and plummeted into a thicket, killing four aboard. Chief pilot Capt Stuart Dietz co pilot Robert Reed and passenger J F Philpots died, with G Marian of Mexico City badly hurt and others injured or shocked. The aircraft rose about 40 feet before hitting the line and skidding 103 yards before stopping against a tree. both engines caught fire briefly.
