Addington to Run in Washington Co Candidate Filed

H. Addington of Fall Branch announced Monday as a candidate for magistrate from the 7th Civil District of Washington County. In Whitesburg Kentucky a dynamite linked car crash on Pine Mountain left a family of Browns and a visitor dead and several injured. Mishap Destroys New Lookout Mountain Subdivision House

A near-completed house at Lookout Mountain foot in Chattanooga was destroyed by a dynamite explosion late today. Local Man Pays Peeking Fine

A 37 year old Kingsport man paid a fifty dollar bond in Gily Court on a peeping tom charge after police found him peering through windows in the northern part of town early Sunday. Also fined were a 50 year old man and a 21 year old woman for whisky possession and public drunkenness, with several others assessed various fines for traffic and related public order offenses.

Highway Patrol Car Involved In Mishap Near Grindstone Hill

August 3 A highway patrol car left the road on Grindstone Hill west of Here after a mishap. Five Tennessee Highway Patrolmen were en route to a tent when the vehicle overturned. Cpl. Ratingen was uninjured. others were reported hospitalized with unspecified injuries. The accident was reported to patrol headquarters in Kingsport.
