A fire leveled the two story Children’s Faith Home on the Johnson City highway at 7 this morning. Thirty two residents were evacuated with no injuries though several lost saved money. Neighbors offered aid and area firms pledged assistance while the building, contents, and furnishings were a total loss. The fire origin cited as a room once used as a prayer space. lack of water hindered efforts to save the structure. Local volunteers arranged temporary housing at Litz Manor school as investigations continue.
