Budgets Submitted For Sullivan County Departments
Sullivan County yesterday submitted budgets for all departments to the county court. The proposals cover ordinary and sinking fund outlays, relief, jail expenses, courthouse costs, health, tax administration, and several county offices with totals near 90 thousand dollars for the ordinary fund and over 122 thousand for interest. Two highway budgets offer different outlays based on receipts and road demand, with a smaller bridge fund of 12 thousand dollars and an alternate of 24 thousand.

Brother of Prof. C K Koffman Dies in Milwaukee
J. Koffman age 41 brother of Prof. J K Koffman of this city died in Milwaukee Wisconsin at 102 m. due to meningitis after becoming ill Sunday. He was a prominent Milwaukee businessman and district manager for United States Tire and Axle Company. Remains go to Vicksburg Mississippi, widow’s home for burial. Funeral arrangements not yet made. Prof. Koffman will be unable to attend. He is survived by his wife and other relatives.
