Cory of the Watertown Public Opinion has announced his bid for Congress. He has published his announcement of principles under the banner Cory for Congress.
The first Chicago and North Western train crossed the Missouri River from Pierre to Fort Pierre on a temporary bridge last week. Work will rust the track west from Fort Pierre and a permanent steel bridge is planned for spring construction.
