The South Dakota railroad commission plans a Chicago hearing before a master in chancery on our 2 cent passenger rate law. The action against enforcement is brought by the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul road and backed by other state lines. Debate over increasing supreme court judges from three to five grows, with the court reportedly 235 cases behind. The issue hinges on whether more judges or more capable ones are needed, likely prompting legislative action for growth.
