Obituary notices Mr Ettie Rose Herd and veterans

Mr Ettie Rose Herd died at 12 30 pm at a hospital after declining health. Survived by her husband L J Mead and seven children including Gladys Atkins and Kings Meestais. Maj Sergeant Clarence B. Gus elie received the Good Conduct Medal for exemplary conduct. Also noted are the transfers of service members to Marine duty and postings in California and Italy.
