Hendersonville coroner reports a man named Souther was killed when he fell under a Southern Railway freight train at the Sixth Avenue crossing. An eyewitness said he heard the train and saw Souther fall between the cars, dying within ten minutes after arrival at Patton Memorial Hospital.
