Boiler Explosion Damages North Gaston Street Home
A steam boiler exploded at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S A Mauney on North Gaston Street causing severe interior damage and blowing out front windows and doors. Mauney narrowly escaped injury while in the kitchen as a repair visit by Zeb Falls earlier that day is noted. Firemen found only boiler debris and no active fire.

Recorders Court Hears 1947 License Plate Violations
