Local man dies after rabbit fever attack at mill
Gastonia report says Robert Horton 34 died in a Charlotte hospital last Friday after an illness linked to rabbit fever. The Mt. Holly worker at Tuckaseege Mill is named Horton's death cautions and investigation into fever onset. Dr A C Everett 65, longtime Rockingham physician, died yesterday from heart attack after nearly four decades in Richmond county practice.

Horace C. Ross aged 42 longtime resident died Friday night at home on Crowders Mountain after three months of illness. He served in World War I and belonged to Gam ton Post No. 23.
