Harder to Get Divorce Under New Indiana Law
The Indiana divorce law now requires all filings after enactment to appear on the docket sixty days before trial and require the prosecutor to oppose any appearance, ensuring a contest in every case. A five dollar fee to the prosecuting attorney is paid by the plaintiff. Reconciliations may rise as a result, with fifteen divorce applications pending in Fountain circuit court.

Alex Starnes Dies in Jackson Township
