AMOWO THE BAPTISTS, Bt Louis, May 17. A permanent body named the General Convention of Baptists of North America was formed with officers from several states and Nova Scotia. The convention approved the committee’s plan for unity, with subsequent meetings set for 1906 and every three years. Southern Baptists met in Kansas City and outlined mission boards, with 1904 and 1906 figures for missionaries and baptisms, and noted a rise in Sabbath disregard.
