Westminster March 23 Special A congregational meeting of the Presbyterian church is called for next Sunday March 28 after the 11 o'clock service to discuss calling a pastor if the way is clear All members are urged to attend.

Seneca Merchants to Close Early Starting April First
Local notes from Seneca report merchants will close at 6 80 o'clock beginning April 1. The Episcopal church plans an Easter egg hunt on April 26 with gates opening at 4 pm and 10 cent admission for children. Morning services drew a good crowd with Rev. Hubard presiding. Kidnapped Willie Whitla Reunited With Father In Cleveland
Little Willie Whitla, abducted from Sharon Pennsylvania last Thursday, was brought to the Hollen den Hotel in Cleveland by two boys who recognized him on a streetcar. The reunion occurred at 8 30 pm after his father paid 10000 in currency to a woman in a candy store, believed Italian, whose identity is undisclosed.

Trammell killed in accidental shooting at Spartanburg store
In Greenville News report from the 23rd John Trammell a young white man was shot and killed by John Gwinn at Sloan Brothers store across the Spartanburg line. Gwinn says the shot was unintentional as he fired a pistol from a counter door after Trammell knocked. The coroner's inquest returned a verdict of death by pistol ball wound inflicted by Gwinn. Gwinn surrendered and was jailed in Spartanburg.
