Old Hand Identified in Train Robbery Case
Gainesville Ga resident George Anderson identified by Pinkerton detectives as A J Milner alias Old King Milner a noted stagecoach and train robber linked to the Southern Halfway robbery near White Sulphur Springs. Milner reportedly escaped custody after a 1906 Canadian machete train robbery sentence and faced further suspected bold deeds in Canada and Westminster. Detectors say there were five robbers in the gang. four men fled, two others aided by a boarding house, while one woman helped on the scene.
