Local Notices and Personal Items at Walhalla
A long page of social notes from Walhalla recounts visits and movements of residents and visitors including Misa Lansie Conley of Whetstone, Miss Lida Kolth of Anderson, and Miss Carrin Perry of Greenville. Townsfolk attend services, auctions, and theatrical nights at the Seneca Opera House featuring Uncle Josh, with preaching at Oakway and Bethel churches. Several moves are noted to new homes and farms, plus a local death and obituaries for Mrs. Barkie and Mrs. Nesmith, with community sympathy and quarantine details for the Watkins family in Walhalla.
