Diversification of crops and nine-cent cotton remedy
US farmer leader urges three actions to lift price pain: organize, cooperate, and diversify crops. He argues reducing cotton acreage to 25 million acres while expanding corn, bacon, wheat, oats, and other staples will raise farmer incomes, cut debt, and lessen reliance on speculators. He cites 1900 census data and urges holding unsold cotton until prices rise, warning diversification benefits families and nation. He notes Folay's Honey and Tar as a trusted remedy for coughs and colds in a separate personal appeal.
