Grover Fair School Dismissal for Pawnee District Attendance
Grover School dismissed last Thursday so teachers and pupils could attend the Pawnee District fair in Grover. Exhibits and amusements were excellent. No school Wednesday due to Weld County Fair. six cars of adults and youth went to Greeley for a day trip, camping overnight and returning Thursday. Corn and sewing club members exhibited with leaders Herman Straseer and Mrs. A. H. Currie. Tanlac shipment advertised. L. H. Underwood's offers bottles to customers.

Old-Timers Visit Keota Area from Hillrose to Kimball
Mr and Mrs George H Besaw and their son Kenneth visited Keota while en route from Hillrose Colorado to Kimball Nebraska. They once homesteaded near Keota owning 120 acres now selling Orchard Hillrose businesses recently. Their daughter Ruth married in Denver and moved to Casper Wyoming with Hawley Richeson. Lila Besaw remains employed in Loveland.
