Keota to open with a full teaching staff led by Superintendent F. E. Bridwell and instructors Miss S. E. Wallace Mrs. Reuben Steiger and Miss Mildred Robinson and Miss Mary Haworth. Principal position yet to be filled as local moves continue.
Mrs. Moore and children visited Greeley for dental work on Thursday. Mr. Sunderlin returned home from the hospital in Greeley on Sunday. James Trumbo and family will occupy the Dinsmoor house this winter. Mrs. Fleming and children spent several days in Greeley this week. The Dinsmoor party came back from Colorado Springs on Wednesday. Harry Baker is visiting his brother in Sedgwick this week. The Hall family lives on the Art Fletcher ranch. Mrs. Hughes and children were in Keota on Monday.
A house warming is planned for the new agricultural room in the Weld County courthouse on Wednesday September 7 1921. Bring lunches coffee lemonade and doughnuts will be served. County Commissioners meet with farmers to welcome everyone. Committees of 15 from the American Farm Bureau Federation invite all farm minded folk.
Guy Vawter and Miss Mary Hemphill were married by Rev. Lawhead at Greeley Presbyterian Church last Friday afternoon. The ceremony was witnessed by the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Hemphill of Keota. After a wedding dinner the couple left by auto for Pawnee City Nebraska where Guy has a garage position and they plan to stay through winter before returning to the homestead next year.

William Sutton his wife and son of Chappell Nebraska visited George Jobbins and family Tuesday night returning Florence Jobbins home after summer work. On Wednesday they went to Loveland to see Suttons uncle George Sutton formerly of Keota. He homesteaded there in 1910 and notes eight years without a crop failure in Chappell with non irrigated beach land valued at 100 to 150 dollars per acre.
