George W. Baxter, nearly eighty, drove solo from Missouri to Florida in 1919 1920 era, visiting Civil War comrades in Iowa Minnesota and Kentucky and sightseeing Mammoth Cave. He traveled through Tennessee Alabama Georgia and ended at Lynn Haven, Fla, eight months there before returning to protect his homestead. He plans future railway trips and possible further car journeys to Yellowstone and Canada.

Mrs. C. E. Moon and her daughter Evelyn depart for Cheyenne to establish a new home as Mr. Moon works there. The family has been visiting the Schoonover home. Baptist Ladies Aid plans a sale of groceries hardware and homemade articles at Currie’s hardware store on December 3 and 4.
