Byrne trades land for Omaha pool hall in Kearney area
D E Byrne trades his 640 acres in Section 20, T9N R69W for a pool hall in Omaha. The business has eight tables, a soda fountain, popcorn machine, a fireproof safe and other appurtenances. The deal was made after the former owner Ward Cackley refused twenty thousand dollars a year. The pool hall is leased until January 1 and Byrne may take possession then. Cackley, a large landholder, plans to visit Keota soon to inspect the property.
