Musical Club Sees Evening Of Song And Games
The musical club met Saturday evening at the Carl Haworth home after a one day postponement due to a basketball game. Twenty members attended and enjoyed singing, party games, and playful dares including blindfolded puffed rice feeding. A cracker race and a Yankee Doodle whistle contest entertained guests. Ice cream, cake, and coffee were served.

Pawnee County Bill Pressed in Colorado Legislature

Lawsuit Held at Keota in Weld County
One of the region’s largest suits opened in Keota Justice Court before Justice William Wagner on Monday January 17 at 3 p m. The rent and damages case involved New Raymer residents J F Snow as plaintiff and S J Powell as defendant with attorneys I S Griffin S J Powell and H H Northup. Plaintiff witnesses included F A Snow Jean Tigh Dr Miller and W D Martin. Defendant witnesses were J K Norwood William Halling Fred Mollie and Mrs S T Powell. The judge took the case under advisement and on January 18 issued a verdict and judgment against the defendant.
