The potato exhibit car, run by C and S and Burlington railroads with agricultural college and local groups, will be in Keota on Friday March 5 from 11 45 a m to 12 45 p m. It features potato varieties grading diseases storage marketing and more with free literature on King Spud. Farmers northeast Weld county invited plus a basket dinner and county needs discussion after departure including roads and division.

World Movement to Put Churches on Business Basis
The Interchurch World Movement plans to replace traditional fundraisers with a Stewardship Plan that treats church financing as a business budget. Women’s church societies will abandon oyster suppers, bazaars, rummage sales, and similar events, focusing instead on God as owner and stewards to maximize religious giving.

Nebraska Man Buys Wecas Farm and Homestead
Charles Brush of Brule Nebraska bought the Frank Wecas farm for 10000 dollars. He then went to Cheyenne and secured the relinquishment of the Alva Wecas homestead of 120 acres and filed a homestead entry there. The deals were through C O Dodder. Brush is brother in law to Lark Bailey and resides at Brule where he farms and feeds hogs. He may not move until fall but plans to bring his sons to crop the land this spring.
