Indictments in Buckingham Arson Case
Deputy Hobart Frasier reports the Weld County grand jury has indicted Daniel Hackelford and James Stear for alleged involvement in the October 14 1917 arson of E G Hoyts new Chevrolet. Testimony indicates kerosene and gasoline wer e poured over the car near Hoyt’s home where his family slept. Bloodhound evidence and grand jury testimony were presented, with further indictments expected as the probe continues.
