Christmas Program Delights Schoolhouse Audience Amid Blizzard
A packed schoolhouse on Saturday December 23 enjoyed a varied program with children and adults. L A Jackson led as master of ceremonies and Mrs J J Savage played organ. Several performers including Charles Vogliotti Mabel Painter and Ruth Besaw received praise for recitations and songs while Dr N D Wells and Mrs C O Dodder delivered spoken pieces. Lee F Patty sang solo and impersonated Santa Claus as presents were handed out. The Rev Markham gave a brief address praising the effort and talent. Out of town visitors included Mrs Dorie Palmer Miss Helen Whipple and Mr Cole. Several locals departed for Cheyenne after Christmas. A Christian Science service is planned for next Sunday at 10:30 a m.
