The Western Stock Show association will rename the National Western Stock Show to the Victory Stock Show opening January 18 in Denver. Extra space is added by leasing a three story horse barn across the street and closing Lafayette street to the public. Officials expect record exhibits with all departments full as stockmen from Colorado, nearby states, and the West attend. The American National Live Stock association convention will run alongside, with government officials explaining post war demand for livestock and agricultural products. Plans include large livestock and agricultural expositions and a celebratory week in Denver, plus a War Saving Stamps push for 1919.
