Baptist Tabernacle to Open Sunday December 8

Private Alex Shimp, reported missing August 27, sends Thanksgiving and November letters from France stating he is well and eager to return. He served in a machine gun squad for forty eight days after hospital treatment for an abscess and recalls severe battles. His homecoming is tempered by the recent deaths of his mother and brother from influenza.
