The Keota Commercial Club met and formed committees to study a waterworks system, organize a Fourth of July celebration, and handle telephone extensions. They secured $1600 in subscriptions, planned a storage tank on the schoolhouse hill, a pump from the school well, a main pipeline, and building connections for stockholders. The next meeting is set for April 9 with emphasis on attendance.
