Mr and Mrs Arthur Potter and baby Temple returned from University Place Nebraska to their homestead east of town. Mrs Potter's sister Anna Stowers finished a school term then will visit Fort Morgan Colorado. James Young from University Place Nebraska settled on a homestead south of town and began improvements. Frank Trumbo builds a 12 by 16 house. Deputy Co Surveyor Gelder surveyed the road to six miles north for prompt repair. Mr and Mrs Case closed their grocery business and left for Hereford Colorado Tuesday. J S Cooper finished ten acres of wheat for Miss McKee on E M E Homestead. Miss Helen Whipple began homesteading Monday. C L Stanley and I S Griffin were callers. J G Rauts of Evans Colorado visiting Lon Bowen.
W. B. Dake and Chester J. Dake loaded immigrant cars at Briggsdale Tuesday and departed on Wednesday for Silver Creek Nebraska to establish new homes. Their families also left Keota Tuesday. The Dakes had lived in the Prosperity district south of Keota for three years and many friends regret the move.

The Silo Special visit by the State Agricultural College and Burlington Railroad drew more than 150 attendees in Keota last Saturday. Lectures sparked strong interest, signaling plans for pit silos and possible above-ground structures this summer.
