A burglary occurred at a local shop last night with entry via smashing the north side. The office window casing was removed and a steel cabinet opened while officers pursued the suspect. No money was reported missing and the effort to identify the thief continues.
Supervisors led by Overstreet prepare a new jail plan to apply for FHA funds at about 120000 dollars. The existing jail will be replaced with a modern sick ward and improved housing for prisoners.
