Mrs. C. C. Pahlen longtime resident of this city died after a serious operation in St Louis. She passed away at about 6 00 am after a sinking spell following surgery. The funeral is to be held Sunday afternoon with local Order of the Stern Si members assisting. She is survived by her husband C C Pahlen and two daughters Lucile and Marie.
