Joseph Bonisko aged 64 and his wife Alvina 54 escaped a bedroom fire at their first story apartment on 1917 52nd St. Rescued by passerby Anthony Dabulski who learned of the fire as engines neared, the pair were treated at Kenosha Hospital with the husband in fair condition and the wife later listed as fair. Damages to the building and contents exceed 2500 dollars. A lunch room fire at 1600 63rd St. caused separate losses, likely from careless smoking.
