Milwaukee Man Dies in Grade Crossing Crash
A Milwaukee man, Kenneth Dick 22, was killed when a car driven by Osterkorn struck a Milwaukee Road Hiawatha at the County Trunk A crossing in Somers township. John Scaffidi, 22, was injured with multiple fractures and internal injuries. both were Marquette University students. The car, after colliding, left the road, and only the occupants survived. Dick died at the scene. The train engineer reported damage to three cars. an inquest awaiting further questioning.

Body of Pfc M N Muto Returns for Final Rites
Private first class Michael N. Muto of Kenosha, killed in France on January 12 1945 while with the 14th Armored division, will be buried in Kenosha after military rites by American Legion Post 429. He was born December 23 1915, served since December 10 1942, trained at Camp Chaffee and Camp Campbell, and is survived by his mother Virginia and sisters Rose Caroline and Mary. a father and a brother preceded him in death. The Italian American society drill team will take part in the services.
