War Hero Pagliaroni Body To Return To Kenosha
The remains of Sgt. Mark F. Pagliaroni 28 killed in action in France January 13 1945 will be returned Tuesday for burial in Kenosha. He was born January 1 1917 in Layton Pennsylvania and moved to Kenosha in 1928 with his parents. Pagliaroni joined the army in 1942 trained at Camp Chaffee and Camp Campbell and served as a machine gunner in an armored division. He earned the meritorious achievement medal for courage at Cherbourg and was a member of St. Mark's church Holy Name Society. He leaves a large family in Kenosha including his wife and siblings.
