Four Fined After Pleasant Prairie Tavern Arrests
Four people were fined in Municipal Court after deputies arrested patrons at a Pleasant Prairie tavern Sunday night. Dew Drop Inn owner Robert E. Goetuck was fined $100 and costs for permitting minors to loiter. bartender Thomas F. Gootuck also faced $100 and costs for the same charge. Evelyn L. Smith and Elza L. Mills were each fined $10 and costs for loitering. Deputies Robert Wightman and Richard Tudjan conducted the arrests following a complaint by Mills' cousin.

More Summer Students Needed for Elementary Courses
David K. Stewart announces additional enrollments needed in several elementary summer school courses including French Spanish arithmetic art speech therapy and advanced scholastic skills. Enrollment runs 8 am to 9 pm Thursday and Friday and noon Saturday at the school administration building 5515 Sheridan Rd for fourth and fifth graders from public private and parochial schools with a teacher recommendation required. The courses aim to enrich and reinforce skills from the regular school year and prevent skill loss.

Kenoshan's Brothers Buried in Racine
A double military funeral was held in Racine for two brothers of Kenosha Police Officer Frank Komistra. Stanley Komistra, 38, Racine, and Walter Komisczra, 40, Milwaukee, drowned May 4 when their boat capsized in a wind storm on Lake Wisconsin near Portage. Services at St. Stanislaus Church and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Stanley found May 11, Walter located May 19. Officer Komistra joined the search with Columbia officials, boats, and a helicopter involved.

Amended Warrant Delays Trial In Destruction Case
Joseph Michaud aged 21 faces charge of malicious destruction of property after a warrant amendment tied him to a group that damaged 10 autos in Simmons Co parking lot. Trial postponed in Municipal Court with Michaud's attorney granted until June 8 to prepare. Gordon Klicke and Raymond K. Roach, both 21 or 20, are under pre sentence investigations.
